The problem

Processing is messy. Your records shouldn't be.

Most processors run on a weighbridge notebook, three spreadsheets and a WhatsApp group. The stock never quite ties out, and nobody can say what a batch actually cost.

Today

  • closeCassava rots because nobody was watching the 72-hour window
  • closeYield is "about 20%" — but nobody can say for which run
  • closeStock on paper and stock on the floor are two different numbers
  • closeA bag leaves the store and nothing traces it back to a batch
  • closeMonth-end takes a week and still doesn't reconcile

With AgroNexus

  • checkThe spoilage clock starts the moment the truck is weighed in
  • checkEvery run is measured against its benchmark, variance flagged
  • checkOne ledger — the floor and the books cannot drift apart
  • checkBatch numbers follow the goods from the gate to the receipt
  • checkCost per kilo, per run, while the run is still going
How it works

The whole cycle, in one system

Raw material comes through the gate. Finished goods leave through the shop. AgroNexus holds every step in between.

Weighbridge intake

Weigh the truck in and out. Deduct trash, flag variance against what the supplier claimed, start the spoilage clock. Stock is credited the moment the intake is finalised.

01
02

Production run

Pick a recipe, scale the batch. Inputs deducted, outputs added, yield measured against your benchmark. Byproducts route themselves — cassava peel goes straight to the feed mill.

QA & packaging

Moisture, starch, dry matter — checked against thresholds you set. Pack into your own bag sizes; the system won't let packed weight and output weight disagree.

03
04

Stock & sale

Finished goods land in the store. Sell at the till, wholesale or on credit. Every sale posts to the ledger, and every bag traces back to the run and the truck it came from.

Inventory control

Every store and subunit on one append-only ledger — nothing moves without a record. Transfer between stores, run blind counts, and get told what's short before you run out of it.

05
06

Finance

Procurement, payroll, energy and every sale land in one chart of accounts. Cost per kilo, margin per product, who owes you and who you owe — without a spreadsheet in sight.

Crop-aware

It already knows your crop

Choose what you process when you sign up. AgroNexus provisions the recipes, expected yields, packaging sizes, spoilage windows and QA thresholds for it — before you log in the first time.

Questions

What processors actually ask

Do I have to build my recipes from scratch?add

No. Pick your crops at sign-up and AgroNexus provisions the recipes, expected yields, packaging sizes, weighbridge settings and QA thresholds for each one. Every number is a starting default — you retune them against your own factory, and your edits are never overwritten.

We process more than one crop. Is that a problem?add

It's the normal case. Run cassava and a feed mill together and the cassava peel routes itself into the mill as feedstock. Add a crop later and only the new recipes appear.

Can it handle our approval hierarchy?add

Yes — one, two or three levels of approval, and roles that map to a real factory: storekeeper, cashier, supervisor, factory manager, owner. One person can wear more than one hat.

What if the internet drops mid-sale?add

The POS queues the sale locally and syncs when the connection returns. A power cut at the till doesn't cost you the transaction.

We're not in Nigeria. Does that work?add

Yes. You choose your currency and your tax rate — 7.5% VAT, 16% in Kenya, 20% in the UK, or none at all. Nothing about your country is baked into the software.

How long does setup take?add

An afternoon. Sign up, pick your crops, add your team and your stores. You can weigh your first truck in the next morning.

Know your real yield by Friday.

Set up this afternoon. Weigh your first truck in tomorrow.
